06's Compete at "Pink the Rink"

The Chicago Bulldogs competed in the "Pink the Rink" event in Mitchell South Dakota for charity.  The Chicago Bulldogs took on Arvada 06 for a special night of hockey and charity.  Both teams played hard for the their teams but most of all for the charities involved.  The Chicago Bulldogs prevailed on the scoreboard with an 8-2 win.  

Congrats to the Bulldogs 2006 and 2009 teams as they captured 200x85's Western Michigan Classic.  The Bulldogs had four teams appear in the finals on Sunday.  The 2006's, 2008's, 2009's and the Squirt Major Team went a combined 19-4-1 through 24 games.  The 2006's rolled through the championship game by defeating the Troy Sting while leading the whole game.  The 2009's stormed back from a 3-0 deficit for a 6-3 victory.  Great weekend for the Bulldogs.

Congratulations to our SQ1 NIHL and PW09 Major teams for bringing home the hardware in Motown!

Great showing at the 200x85 CCM Motown Invitational.  Our five Bulldogs teams went a combined 18-5-3 on the weekend; with 3 teams advancing to their Championship Games; with the PW08s ad SQ1 Teams returning as Champions! 

HTP Director - Chris Affinati

HPT Welcomes New Director

HPT is excited to welcome Chris Affinati as Director of HPT Operations.  Chris brings many years of personal training experience along with fifteen years of professional hockey experience and many years of martial arts training. Chris played D1 hockey for Sacred Heart University where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management. He is currently certified in Sports Management through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  Chris currently trains many notable local players; including last year's #5 overall NHL draft pick Alex Turcotte. With Chris' on ice experience and training regimen, he will seamlessly enhance the player's skills both off the ice and competitively on the ice. He is a welcome addition to HPT!


Chris also arrives with a very successful hockey coaching background; having won numerous State and League Championships at various levels.  He also has an extensive background in Mixed Martial Arts where he is 2-0 at the professional level.  He continues to also teach boxing, kickboxing and MMA.

The Bulldogs are excited to announce the hiring of Coach Anthony Luka!  Anthony is entrusted with coaching our 2008 PW Major Team for the 2020-21 Season.  Anthony spent the past three seasons coaching at the Chicago Bruins; most recently as head coach of the '05 Bantam Major CS team. Prior to the Bruins, he was an assistant coach at Team Illinois with the '02 Bantam Majors.  Anthony grew up playing his youth hockey at the Northwest Chargers AA and Team Illinois AAA hockey, before moving on to play college hockey at Illinois State University.  Anthony comes from a great hockey family; his father Mark is currently the Midget Major Coach at Team Illinois, and his brother Nico is a senior D1 hockey  player AIC.  

Bulldogs 06's Sail Through Motown

Congratulations to our 06 Bantam Bulldogs coached by Mike Herbert and Joe Corvo on winning the 2019 Motown Classic and bringing home the hardware! The boys went a smooth 6-0, outscoring their opponents 26-4 and notching 3 shutouts along the way!



Congrats to our 2007 Bulldogs CS team on winning the 2019 Pure Hockey AAA Wisco Invitational.  The 07 Bulldogs went a perfect 5-0 in Round Robin Play and advanced to the finals to finalize the championship.  The group led by Coach Cha and Coach Pragovich kicked off the 2019-20 season with a bang.  Congrats to the 07 Bulldogs and good luck the rest of the season.  

Bulldogs Welcome Coach Rob Newburg

The Chicago Bulldogs would like to welcome Rob Newburg to the organization, as Hockey Operations Administrator.  Rob comes to the Bulldogs with over 19 years of coaching experience, ranging from learn to skate through midgets.  Rob was the Chicago Wolves Youth Hockey Director for 8 years and also previously worked for the Chicago Steel in the USHL.  Rob grew up playing youth hockey in the Chicagoland area for the Chicago Patriots, Falcons and Northern Express.  Rob graduated from DePaul University while playing ACHA hockey.   Rob will be coaching with the Bulldogs this fall, as well as handling various administrative duties. 

Please welcome Coach Newburg to our organization and introduce yourself this season!

They went a perfect 6-0 throughout the weekend with a blistering +23 goal differential!

Our other 4 JYD teams all advanced to Sunday play
Overall JYD teams were 15-7-5 with 96GF-71GA

  • Coach Rob Messner as Squirt Hockey Director and Head Coach for our Central States and NIHL Teams.
  • Eleven year NHL'er, Coach Joe Corvo, who will be entrusted with our Bantam and Midget Levels

Each person entering the rink needs to have one on file.  Please get this done for the rink ahead of time... or you will be asked to do so when you arrive.


STEP 2 - Return to Skate Registration and Slot selection


-Please register in the new system - If you have more than one player, click the GREEN + sign below the password field to add more players.  CREDITS are PER PAID PLAYER.


If you will attend multiple sessions, you may want to purchase 5 pack or 10 pack at a lower cost per session.  You can also just checkout and purchase 1 credit during check-out if you prefer.  Note that Credits are player specific and cannot be shared.

Navigate to the Program level for your player > Buy the credit pack or just select the session(s) you prefer.

-Only Week 1 registration is released to allow us to address any issues that may come up, then we will release the remaining schedule by the end of the week 1.

-Remember to ONLY RESERVE (Skate) 1 session PER DAY.

-Pay attention to the groups... some sessions are combined, like all Squirts or BT 06/07 (combined).  Other sessions are year specific, like separate BT06 or BT07.  Sign up appropriately for your player.

-To clarify. there is NO designation as a Team 1 or 2. Group A is one section of ice. Group B is another section of ice, etc... to comply with social distancing.  Lets get the kids on their skates and active again.  Teams will sort out at tryouts in the fall.
